Compliance Schedule Updates
As of 2023, Auckland Council have been proactively requiring building owners at their BWOF renewal to provide detailed descriptions of each specified system to ensure compliance with the Building Act.
Who needs one?
If you have have a building that requires a BWOF within the Auckland region and have received a notice from Auckland Council, you will be required to undertake a Compliance Schedule Update from a registered IQP. Failure to provide detailed descriptions of each specified system and performance standards for each specified system at your new Building Warrant of Fitness renewal may place the owner in breach of the Act.
